Setup
To get started with DirectBrowserPrint you first need to install it or connect to DirectBrowserPrint on another system.
Inside your website / module you should see a settings area like below.
Choose the option for your situation.
- Install DirectBrowserPrintClick this button to install DirectBrowserPrint on your current system. This installation is compatible with both Windows and MacOS operating systems.
- Connect to another systemUse this option to connect to DirectBrowserPrint running on a different system. This feature supports connections from Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
Local Installation
For local installation you need to download DirectBrowserPrint like shown below.
- Select Your Operating SystemChoose the operating system you are using to proceed with the download.
- Download for WindowsClick this button to download the version compatible with Windows.
- Download for MacOSClick this button to download the version compatible with MacOS.
Network Installation
For network option, you need to enter details of system that has DirectBrowserPrint installed.
Be sure this system has DirectBrowserPrint running and reachable from your system.

- Hostname InputEnter the hostname or IP address of the system you wish to connect to. Ensure that this system is running DirectBrowserPrint.
- Connect ButtonClick 'OK' to initiate the connection process.

Printer Selection & Settings
Settings of DirectBrowserPrint are shown below.
- Select PrinterChoose the printer you wish to use for printing. After selecting a printer, the settings will appear for you to review and adjust.
- Change Printer SettingsAccess and modify the settings for the currently selected printer by clicking here.
Integrating in website / web-app / module
